One of the first hot days of spring and of course I’m going to bust out this gorgeous earth-toned paisley printed dress. My poor white pasty legs havn’t seen the light of day in months, so I am super excited. This dress is one of my favourites because of the a-line skirt (which by the way is one of the most flattering styles on most body types and my fav for sure!). It also has tulle in the inner layer (which makes me feel like a little girl and who doesn’t want to feel like a little girl sometimes!) It’s feminine and most importantly, easy to wear. Add some gladiators for a little edge to this girlie number and a fun pair of sunnies and your out the door. This look took me from styling at a photo shoot straight to my daughters dance recital…love love love!
And remember ladies, don’t be afraid of a printed dress. I know many of us women live by this mentality, “stay away from prints, it will bring too much attention to my body”. I used to think this way as well, but trust me when I say, not only does print add interest and impact, it can be extremely flattering. Prints bring your eye everywhere and can camauflage certain areas of your body that you want to conceal. Remember to find prints that are in proportion to your body and take the plunge! Definitely a must have in your closet this season, along with a gladiator flat sandal of course!!!
Thanks so much for reading…xo
